DUI roadblocks are legal if they’re set up properly. The roadblocks are supposed to enforce the traffic laws, to make sure that vehicles are properly registered and insured and to make sure people driving them have a valid driver’s license. Roadblocks are restricted, though, to traffic offenses, and they are legal if they’re set up properly.
